Extended Range Indoor/Outdoor
Temperature & Humidity Sensor

HAI Part Number: 31A00-8
Manual

31A00-8 Indoor / Outdoor Temp Sensor The 31A00-8 Indoor/Outdoor Temperature Sensor is used for sensing indoor or outdoor temperature from -40 F to 120 F. It is coated with a sealant to withstand outdoor moisture and features a new, high accuracy temperature sensor that doesn't need calibration.

The temperature can be used to activate programs for controlling temperatures in attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, and coolers. The temperature can be displayed on the console or spoken over the telephone. It can also report, log, alert, or generate an alarm if the temperature reaches freeze conditions or if the temperature goes above the high setpoint or drops below the low setpoint programmed in the system.

The Model 31A00-8 also includes a Humidity Sensor that is used for reporting the outdoor or indoor relative humidity from 0 to 100 percent. High and low humidity limits can be set for taking action (i.e. turning on the bathroom vent fan, running a/c in de-humidification mode, turning on humidifier in heating mode, etc.) or reporting high or low humidity conditions in homes, greenhouses, wine cellars, coolers, humidors, etc. Controlling humidity is particularly helpful in combating the growth of mold in vulnerable areas of the home, such as bathrooms, basements, attics, etc.

This sensor cannot be connected to a zone on an Expansion Enclosure (i.e. Model 17A00) for temperature. Run a 4-conductor wire from the controller location to each Model 31A00-8.

For the Lumina, Lumina Pro, Omni LT, Omni II, Omni IIe, or OmniPro II home control systems.

Extended Range Indoor/Outdoor
Temperature Sensor

HAI Part Number: 31A00-7
Manual

31A00-7 Indoor / Outdoor Temp Sensor The Model 31A00-7 Indoor/Outdoor Temperature Sensor is used for sensing indoor or outdoor temperatures from -40 F to 120 F.

This sensor cannot be connected to a zone on an Expansion Enclosure (i.e. Model 17A00) for temperature. Run a 4-conductor wire from the controller location to each Model 31A00-7.

For the Lumina, Lumina Pro, Omni LT, Omni II, Omni IIe, or OmniPro II home control systems.

Water Temperature Sensor

HAI Part Number: 14A00-8
Manual

14A00-8 Water Temperature Sensor This temperature sensor is used to monitor the temperature of pools, spas, aquatic ponds, and greenhouses. The temperature sensing device is potted in a stainless steel probe. It is designed specifically to monitor water temperature from the return/source and then report that information back to an HAI Omni Family controller. Supplied with stainless steel mounting screws and waterproof connectors.

For the Lumina, Lumina Pro, Omni LT, Omni II, Omni IIe, or OmniPro II home control systems.

PESM

HAI Part Number: 1101A
Manual

1101A PESM The PESM (Programmable Energy Saver Module) is used to override existing thermostats for set-back control. It also may be used for sensing and controlling other temperatures, such as attic fans, garage fans, greenhouses, basements, wine coolers, humidors, etc. It may also be used to control spa heaters with remote temperature sensor.

The PESM reports temperatures to the home control system, and has a low voltage relay and LED indicator for control. The PESM doubles as a freeze sensor, which can cause the controller to dial out in the event of a furnace failure.

For the Lumina, Lumina Pro, Omni LT, Omni II, Omni IIe, or OmniPro II home control systems.

Surface Mount Remote Indoor
Temperature Sensor

HAI Part Number: 23A00-1
Manual

Model 23A00-1 Sensor The Surface Mount Remote Indoor Temperature Sensor may be mounted in the conditioned space and the thermostat can be mounted remotely for protection from tampering or for aesthetic reasons.

This sensor uses twisted pair, shielded cable from the Omnistat thermostat to its location.

  • For distances up to 100 feet, typical twisted pair, PVC-insulated, shielded cable may be used.

  • For distances from 100-150 feet, twisted pair with polypropylene insulated conductors, shielded must be used.

  • For distances from 150-250 feet, twisted pair with foam-polyethylene insulated conductors, shielded must be used.

  • Wire runs must not exceed 250 feet.

The Remote Sensor must be mounted in the same location appropriate for a thermostat for best performance (for example, on an inside wall, free of draft from vents, away from sunlight, windows, etc.).

This small (2 W X 1.5 H X I D inches) unit is mounted on the surface of the wall.

This sensor will work with any Omni family or Lumina family home control system.

Flush Mount Remote Indoor
Temperature Sensor

HAI Part Number: 23A00-2
Manual

Model 23A00-2 Sensor The Flush Mount Remote Indoor Temperature Sensor may be mounted in the conditioned space and the thermostat can be mounted remotely for protection from tampering or for aesthetic reasons.

This small unit (disc is 1.5 inches in diameter) can be flush mounted in the drywall and painted over to become almost invisible in a residential installation.

This sensor will work with any Omni family or Lumina family home control system.
