The Omnistat2 thermostats learn the cooling patterns of your home and are HAI's newest and most efficient
thermostats. They have the ability to communicate with your electric meter to show the current cost
of energy, how much energy you have used, and how much your utility bill will be this month. All
Omnistat2 thermostats display real-time energy usage in graph format.
The Omnistat line of thermostats are available for conventional single stage heat/cool, heat pump,
two speed heat pump, two stage conventional, and zone control systems.
The Omnistat-Z line of thermostats have added Z-Wave™ transceivers to Omnistat thermostats, and
they work with any Z-Wave™ network. When connecting an Omnistat-Z
to an HAI controller, use the Leviton Vizia RF to RS232 Serial Bridge (Leviton
part number RZCOP-1LW).
Because they are wireless, Omnistat-Z thermostats are perfect for retrofit applications.
Use any of HAI’s thermostats as stand-alone,
with their advanced scheduling features, or
integrate them with an HAI home control system.
Using an HAI Home Control System you can change
Omnistat thermostat settings based upon events, time, or sensor readings. Moreover, since
HAI home control systems provide remote access via both telephone and over the Internet
you may access your home at any time and change your thermostat settings.
Proper humidity control is another important
aspect of remaining comfortable while saving
energy. HAI offers temperature and humidity
sensors for temperature based control of attics,
garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, or
coolers. Water temperature sensors may be used
to supervise and manage pool or spa temperatures.
